Can I let M. Graham gouache dry on a palette and rewet it? Yes. The honey in the binder helps it rewet easily, which makes it practical for a travel palette.

Gouache or watercolor for plein air? Gouache is opaque and matte, so you can paint light over dark and correct as you go. Watercolor is transparent and relies on the white of the paper.

Basic 5 or Deluxe 10? Five colors are enough to mix almost anything and keep the kit light. Ten saves mixing time.
