Questions painters ask

Will masking fluid ruin my brush? It can. Use an old or cheap brush, a ruling pen or a Colour Shaper, and wet a brush with soapy water first so the fluid rinses out.

How long can I leave it on the paper? Remove it once your painting is dry, ideally the same day. Left on for days or in hot sun, it gets harder to lift.

Does it work on any paper? It works best on sturdy, well-sized paper like 140 lb cotton. Soft papers can tear when you rub it off.
